Structural Engineering

Designing for Life Above Ground

You rely on the safety and dependability of structures in every facet of daily life. From where you go to work, to where you seek medical help, to where you live, and to the public institutions that provide community services – it’s our job to design, evaluate, and rehabilitate those buildings. Performance matters.

Engineering For Life

Our structural engineers are focused on public safety – from seismic engineering and advocacy, to designing retrofits or new buildings, to checking other designers’ plans for code compliance, our engineers strive to improve and save lives. Strategically located throughout the seismically-active Pacific Rim, our engineers provide seismic and structural expertise spanning from the arctic regions in Alaska, to the temperate climate of the Pacific Northwest, to the desert/coastal areas of the Southwest, and the tropical climate of the Hawai’ian islands. Public safety also takes us across the globe, investigating natural disasters, aiding in recovery, advocating for preparedness, and improving structure design.
