Semper Paratus. Another asset for helping the U.S. Coast Guard with its “always ready” motto, the new Cleveland operations, administrative, and crew berthing building now aids in improving our national defense. Reid Middleton prepared a planning and conceptual design Project Proposal Report (PPR) and Design-Build Requests for Proposal (RFP) for the new 25,000 SF facility, which consolidated the Station, Marine Safety Unit (MSU), and Electronics Support Detachment (ESD) operations. The building includes ESD administration and computer and electronic shops, a galley and mess, fitness center with lockers and showers, MSU administration, secure and unsecure briefing rooms and berthing.
