Expanding capacity for medical and pharmacy care.
Dental, doctor, dispensary digs. The U.S. Navy needed a more functional and updated dental/dispensary clinic for its staff. Reid Middleton provided structural and civil engineering design for the renovation and modernization of approximately 35,000 SF of medical/dental clinic space. Major components of work included interior improvements to improve function and upgrades to the fire suppression/detection systems, HVAC, electrical systems and other utility systems. The project also included a 3,000 SF expansion of the medical clinic space, with new landscaping, grading, drainage, and ATFP improvements. A seismic joint was provided between the new addition and adjacent existing structures.
