Municipality of Anchorage Trail Bridges

  • Location Anchorage, AK
  • Owner Municipality of Anchorage
  • Building Bridges

Replacing or repairing 15 bridges along the Municipality of Anchorage’s trail system.

  • Year-Round Use

The trails (and bridges) are used for both summer and winter activities.

Over the rivers and through the woods. The Municipality of Anchorage has an award-winning trail system, with over 130 miles of trails spread along the coastline and three river drainages that run through town. As these trails wander through the parks and over the tributary creeks, bridges are a vital link in the trail network. Reid Middleton has provided the structural engineering for 15 of these bridges.
