The field crew was restricted from working in the restaurant spaces when they were open for business, requiring several partial days to complete the survey.

This iconic Seattle eatery sat in the middle of a massive reconstruction project at the pier – the Seattle Seawall project that promises to transform the popular waterfront. Ivar’s embarked on its own retrofit project and needed accurate horizontal and elevation data for the planned structural and interior improvements.
The property boundary was calculated based on a monument survey, previous work on the site, and recorded maps of the area. Topographic data was merged with approved construction plan details from the Seawall project to coordinate design with the proposed improvements and utilities after the Seawall project is completed.
