Recreational reality. For six years, Ballard residents eagerly awaited a new park on 17th Avenue between 62nd and 63rd street, called the Ballard Corners Park. Reid Middleton provided structural engineering for the design of a variety of park sculpture structures. The structures included a steel frame entry trellis and concrete table and chair elements that flank the park’s main entryways. Now, families can enjoy a new community space in the Ballard area.
