Mike Fierro

PE, SE, CDT

Associate Principal

Mike enjoys seeing beautiful facilities being used by the public. He likes designing them too. A very smart person, Mike is focused on giving clients what they want…and they want Mike on their projects.

An Anchorage resident since his junior year in high school, Mike has over 35 years of Alaska structural engineering experience. He particularly enjoys working on beautiful buildings and has a genuine sense of admiration when seeing his designs constructed. Mike has worked on some of the area’s most iconic structures including the holographic art at the state crime lab, several Providence Alaska campus buildings, the UAA’s new Engineering Building (an alumnus), Health Sciences, Pedestrian Bridge at Providence Boulevard, and Native American Studies Building, and the Nuka Wellness Center. Mike is ambidextrous, an astronomy buff and a Trekkie.
