Ken, with 45 years of experience providing the structural design of buildings and waterfront projects at locations throughout Alaska, relocated to Reid Middleton’s corporate office in Everett, Washington after managing the firm’s Anchorage office for 16 years.  Ken will leverage his experience managing Reid Middleton’s Anchorage office to support and expand the company’s structural engineering groups in Everett and San Diego.

Ken is responsible for the analysis, design, preparation of contract drawings and specifications, and construction administration services for industrial and commercial facilities constructed of timber, steel, reinforced masonry, concrete, and prestressed concrete, including vehicle maintenance facilities, battalion headquarters, training facilities, office buildings, schools, warehouses, airport facilities, sewage treatment plants, underground fuel storage tanks, docks and other marine structures.  Projects have consisted of new construction and remodel.  Ken is well-versed with the design requirements of the IBC, the Department of Defense’s UFC standards used by the Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Navy, and GSA standards.
