It comes down to experience — past and current. Our experience with FAA advisory Circulars, standards, and processes has been developed on more than 500 projects since 1972. And, Reid Middleton’s aviation engineers work with clients on a daily basis to move projects forward through this critical phase. We enjoy seeing dreams become reality.

FAA Liaison: Reid Middleton’s staff invests in their relationships with FAA staff. Our Everett office is located just 34 miles from the FAA’s Seattle ADO, and we meet face to face whenever necessary. Our relationships have assisted in facilitating communication between the sponsors and the FAA that allows us to address airport specific situations that cannot be addressed with a simple regulation or requirement.

FAA Experience/ Grant Management: Most of our Airport Group work is funded by the FAA and must comply with AIP airport design and construction standards. For this reason, we work closely with the FAA, communicating regularly with the assigned FAA project manager for each airport we work on throughout the design and construction process. Reid Middleton staff has had great success working with clients to obtain and manage grants of all sorts, meet funding deadlines, and assist airports in meeting funding requirements.

Public Involvement/Outreach: We have proven experience in project communications, public meetings, hearings, committees, and coordination with outside organizations, project stakeholders, and our clients. Our experience facilitates successful projects with strong, long-term relationships between all stakeholders.
