Reviewing Renton. The City of Renton needed a consultant to help determine whether proposed building projects in the City were code-compliant before owners were issued permits and construction started. Plan reviews are an important part of keeping the public safe as they allow an experienced and professionally-licensed third-party engineer to review engineering drawings and calculations of other designers. Under a multi-year plan check on-call, Reid Middleton performed structural and code compliance reviews for a variety of commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, site development, and mixed-use projects.
