Reid Middleton Engineer Speaks at EvCC Grand Opening (Everett Community College celebrates arrival in Monroe)
Everett Community College graduate Leif Johansen talks about his experience attending college in Monroe during the Jan. 13 open house of EvCC's new East County Campus as Monroe Mayor Robert Zimmerman listens.
The mayor performed the ribbon cutting at the event, officially marking the arrival of Everett Community College's first dedicated campus in Monroe. The college, which has long offered classes at night in Monroe School District classrooms, now has classrooms in the Lake Tye Building for day time use.
