SUBASE Bangor, located on Washington's Puget Sound, houses a marine reactionary security force which protects the waterfront environment against possible threat. Building a facility to meet current seismic safety requirements, conform to the high security standards of the U.S. Marine Corps, and provide secure and efficient housing for the armed forces manning the facility results in a structure well-equipped to respond when needed.
