Engineer - Civil Projects Group

We have an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer to work on a variety of projects in our Civil Projects group. The right individual will have a BSCE degree with from 0 to 4 years of experience, with an exposure to storm, water and sewer systems, pavement design, along with grading and site layout. Project work will focus on site development and utility designs for Universities, Colleges, Schools, Port Districts, utility districts, and industrial and military facilities.

Successful candidates possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, and will have obtained or be on a track towards obtaining their EIT and PE registrations. Personal characteristics that will be valuable in this position include the ability to work effectively with clients and other designers, the ability to work independently under general guidance and direction, and a desire to successfully complete continually increasing challenges. Required computer skills include a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, email, AutoCAD and web browsers; and a general understanding of databases. Desirable skills include experience with Land Development Desktop, open channel and piping calculation software, the latest storm water regulations, writing technical specifications in CSI format, and sustainable building design.
