UAA/APU Library Expansion &
ALASKA NATIVE SCIENCE & ENGINEERING PROGRAM FACILITY

UAA/APU, Anchorage, AK

In cooperation with APU, UAA recognized the need for a larger library on the Anchorage campus and sought a signature building that embraced modern architecture and enhanced technology.

The University also saw a need for a unique facility that supported Alaska’s natives enrolled in the natural sciences and engineering curriculum.

NEED

Design a 126,000-square-foot addition for the library and a 13,000-square-foot facility for Alaska native students.

RESULT

Teamed with architects to provide innovative, successful solutions that resulted in challenging, complex, and award-winning structures.
