This six-story, 74,100 square-foot, 40-unit residential structure, designed to serve as housing and studio space for artists, was designed by Reid Middleton's structural engineers. Shared studio and industrial spaces for glass and metal working were included at the ground and mezzanine levels. Atop the building, a green roof was designed to increase the building's efficiency and contribution to the building's LEED® Silver rating. Another LEED® feature was the inclusion of 24 bike storage spaces alongside 40 parking stalls. The design work included shoring and reused basement walls from a demolished parking structure on the site to reduce the need for new shoring materials and demolition waste.
