An inspection, structural evaluation, and conceptual design for the rehabilitation of the Tacoma Fire Station No. 5 Pier located near Old Town Dock along Ruston Way was performed by Reid Middleton. Based on inspection results, Reid Middleton is preparing a vertical and lateral pier structural analysis, a conceptual design to improve the seismic performace of the pier, and a cost estimate for the recommended upgrades to the timber pier structure. Reid Middleton provided planning, design, and cost estimating services for the project.
