Reid Middleton was the structural engineer for a five-story concrete fire training tower. The training tower will house several burn props, collapsed floor props and roof props that can be cut. The tower is meant to replicate emergency response scenarios that would be found in large apartment structures, commercial buildings and industrial buildings. The tower will be constructed of reinforced concrete and reinforced masonry.
